What to expect prior to your next lease or purchase:

This lease-end timeline walks you through the turn in process every step of the way.  Please use this as a guide, but also note that not all lease companies are exactly the same in their lease end process.  This will give you a general idea of what to expect when you are nearing the end of your lease.

6 Months Prior Identify your New Vehicle Needs It is important your new Ford meet your functional needs as well as be exciting to drive. Establishing a list of your wants and needs will help guide your purchase decision. We have provided some useful tips to assist you in making your decision to buy or lease a new Ford. You can begin the process of exploring your new vehicle by perusing our website, exploring the new features and benefits and contacting us to find out more about the new Ford models.

4 Months Prior You will receive Information on your lease turn-in which will explain: Your Options at Lease-End Excess Wear and Use Guide (FMCC) Lease Vehicle Inspection Information If you have any questions after reviewing your Lease-End Mailing, contact our knowledgeable sales team for assistance.

3 Months Prior Discuss Lease-End Options with one of our Leasing Experts Contact us to discuss your lease-end options, the return of your leased vehicle and your new vehicle needs.

2 Months Prior Prepare for Vehicle Inspection: The inspection is conducted near the end of your lease. For added convenience, you can choose an inspection location ideal for you, such as your home or office. Vehicle inspection provides you with detailed information about the condition of your vehicle, including an assessment of any Excess Wear and Use. Understanding this assessment before lease-end allows you time to arrange for any needed repairs before returning your vehicle.

1 Month Prior Schedule Lease-End Appointment If you have not done so already, contact us to schedule a lease-end appointment to review your options: buy or lease a new Ford, purchase your lease vehicle or return your lease vehicle. Be sure to ask about currently available vehicle programs and offers on all our new Ford vehicles.
